Pumpkin Patch

At Eveland Farms they also had a hayride, pumpkins and a corn maze. I couldn't believe how cheap it was for all of the fun stuff for the girls. I definitely will have to keep this place in mind for next year.

Farm Animals

On October 12th Jenny and I took the girls to Eveland Farms. They have a ton of animals there. They have donkeys and horses roaming the farm. They also have goats, llamas, cows, pigs, chickens and others. Madalynn loved looking at all of the animals. Here are some pictures:

The Girls

Here are some recent pictures of the girls. They are both doing great and we really did miss them this weekend. It is great being a parent even though they might drive you a little CRAZY at times!!!

North Shore

On Friday Reggie and I left the girls at home and went up to the North Shore. Judy and my mom came to watch Madalynn and Emma. Reggie and I needed a vacation!! Reggie won a gift certificate for Bluefin Bay in Tofte, which is a little over an hour north of Duluth.

On Friday we stopped in Hinckley and tried to win some money at the casino. We were there for about 2 hours and left with our pockets slightly lighter. After checking into the room, we went to eat at the Bluefin Grille. It was very good food.

On Saturday we slept in...yeah right. We had eaten, showered and were out the door by 10am. That is what happens when you are used to getting up at 630am everyday. We went right to Lutsen to go on the gondola ride and the alpine slide. The alpine slide was closed because of frost so we just rode the gondola. We went hiking up on the mountain and had a snack. Then we headed off to Grand Marias. We spent the afternoon looking around the shops. On our way back to Tofte, we stopped back at the mountain to see if the alpine slide was open and it was!!! So went on a ride. Saturday night we went to eat at the Cascade Restaurant. It was good but VERY slow. I think we were there for about 2 hours.

Sunday we got up and were again on the road by 10. We stopped at Betty's Pie's and had lunch and a piece of pie. We brought home pies for the Grandma's. Hopefully they were good. We stopped at Black Bear Casino on the way home. We were only there 45 minutes but we left with some money in our pockets....that was nice. It wasn't much, but better than the casino having it!!

Here are some pictures of the weekend.
