So I know it has been a LONG time since I posted. I haven't decided if I am going to continue this. Now that I am so far behind, it will take me forever to catch up. Does anyone even read this? I figure that most people see everything on facebook...hmmm what to do?

I can't believe my nephew Simon is one already. Here are some pictures of his birthday party.

The Stohls

I can't believe I am this far behind on blogging. I think I need to devote a day during the week to blog so I don't have to play catch up!
On Friday June 11th, the Stohls came for a visit from Florida. Chris and Heather had to go to a book premier (one of their friends wrote a book). We were able to watch the boys for about 1 1 /2 hours and it was so much fun. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids playing. I wish that we could see them more and I am sure the kids would love to spend more time with each other.

Garage Sale

I decided to swing by a garage sale today and they had this kitchen for 10 dollars. It is in perfect condition so I HAD to buy it. I am sure Reggie will think I am crazy but the girls LOVE it.

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend we decided to stay home and spend some time together because the last few weeks we have been busy and we aren't sure how the weekends are going to be now since the nurses are striking at work. We had a very relaxing weekend and it was nice.

Saturday we decided to try seeing how Emma would do with potty training. It did not go well...she didn't mind having wet underwear so we decided to wait until the fall to try again. Saturday night we bought the Robin Hood movie (cartoon) and had a movie night with popcorn. The girls had a blast but Emma is still too little to watch an entire movie.

We were also able to set up the kiddie pool for the girls on Monday. They had so much fun and it was nice to have a relaxing weekend.

Even with all of this relaxing the girls still found time to get sick. Maddie has been fighting a cold for about 1 1/2 weeks and decided to spike a bit of a temp Friday and Sat. On Monday night Emma was up most of the night with a temp. I took her in to the doctor on Wed and she had pink eye and an ear infection. They are both still coughing like crazy but seem to be on the mend.

Emma's Party

Emma had her birthday party Sunday. We had about 30 people over so our was a little crowded but the weather was nice enough for the kids to be outside. Here are some pictures from the party. Our camera is getting old and not working very good so the pictures are sort of blurry. Reggie messed around with it last night so it is worse than normal...he thought he was fixing it!!!

She loved her cake and frosting!

Graduation

On Saturday I graduated with my Masters of Arts in Nursing. I am really excited to be done but I still have my project to finish so I am still having to do homework. I just need to really take some time and focus on it, but that is easier said than done. My goal is to have everything done this fall. Even though I am not completely finished, it is still nice knowing I don't have to go to class anymore!

Emma turns 2

Weekend Fun

Last weekend was the fishing opener and Reggie went up north with Jason so his wife Bridget brought their son down here to spend the weekend. We just sat around and ate pizza for supper on Friday night but Saturday we went to the Minnesota Zoo. The weather was beautiful and we arrived about 930am after a little detour. The kids had a blast, I just wish they didn't need so many snacks!!! We finally left there around 2pm so the kids could get home and take a nap before the babysitter came over.

We had Brianna the babysitter come over around 7pm so Bridget and another friend Steph and I could go to THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER!! It is male dancers from Australia. It was so much fun.

It was a great weekend!

Anniversary

In January Reggie and I went with the Greniers to a fundraiser for the Cancer Center in Fergus Falls. They had 100 champagne glasses with a "diamond"attached. One of the 100 is an actual diamond the rest are CZ's. Well I got the CZ but for our wedding anniversary Reggie went and had it put in a ring...ahhh!!! What a romantic!!! It was on my pillow when I came home from class that night. It is beautiful!

Haylees Wedding

Reggie's cousin Haylee got married on May 1st. I don't have a great picture of them so you just have to deal with the dark one I have on here. The girls had so much fun dancing the Chicken Dance and Hokie Pokie. My mom and dad came and took the girls to their house so Reggie and I could have some fun. We ended up getting a room at Thumper Pond where the reception is...too much drinking and we shouldn't be driving!

Grandpa and Grandma Becker

On April 23rd the girls and I rode up to Wadena/Deer Creek with Heather and her boys. Heather came back to visit her parents so we decided to hitch a ride. Heather dropped us off at Bud and Judy's for a couple of hours. The girls had so much fun riding the four wheeler and blowing bubbles. I didn't take any pictures of the rest of the weekend...sorry. Heather should be emailing me some of them but she hasn't yet.

Wedding

Saturday, my cousin Nick got married so we went to Owatonna to be a part of that. It was alot of fun and I was able to spend time with my family, which was nice. We were able to check in to the hotel at 11 so that the girls could go swimming and take a nap before the ceremony. As we were getting ready, I realized that I forgot the girls dresses so I had to go to Target to buy new dresses. Oh well, I was able to get cute dresses and they even matched!!! Here are a few pictures of the weekend. Maddie and Emma loved dancing and Maddie kept asking my aunt to dance when there wasn't any music on. Nick and Bobbi (sorry not a better picture)

Maddie learned how to take pictures...and LOVED it!

Como Zoo

Last Friday night Jason, Bridget and Carson came down for a birthday party on Saturday. It was so nice to spend some time with them. On Sunday we decided to go to Como Zoo. The kids had a great time, unfortunately towards the end they just wanted a snack. Maddie was so excited once she got to one animal, she just wanted to go and see the next one.

Easter

On Easter we had my Mom and Dad, Jenny and Lyle, Ginger, Brent and girls, Bud and Judy and Jay and Miranda over for lunch. It was nice to have everyone over, I wish that all of the family could have made it. Reggie, the girls and I went to church in the morning. Soon everybody arrived for lunch. After lunch the Easter bunny surprised us by showing up and leaving eggs all over the front yard. Then when we came back in, he had dropped off the Easter baskets too!!! It was fun seeing the girls run around the yard picking up eggs. It was a beautiful day out and it was hard to get the kids to come back in the house.

Getting ready for Easter

On April 3rd we spent the morning dying Easter eggs and then in the afternoon went to an Easter Egg Hunt. The girls had so much fun. I think next year will be better because they will understand it more. Waiting on the bench for the Egg Hunt to start

Stitches

On Monday Reggie paged me at work to tell me that Maddie had her finger slammed in the door at daycare and needed stitches. He took her to urgent care and I met him there. Her hand was wrapped pretty good and the bandages were soaked with blood. It looked like it hurt so bad. Maddie was such a trooper though. She didn't even cry when they soaked her hand an took an xray. She did cry pretty hard when they were cleaning it and stitching it back up but I don't blame her. Emma and Reggie were in the waiting room and could hear her screaming. Emma turned to Reggie and said "Maddie...go see" She wanted to come and see why Maddie was crying...what a great sister!!! Here are some graphic pictures about 24 hours after it happened!
