Kelley Farm

On Saturday the 30th, Reggie, the girls and I went to the Kelley Farm. It is located in Elk River and it is a historical site. They farm and dress like "the olden days". The had sheep shearing, oxen, pigs, a garden, chickens, and some kittens. It was alot of fun to see the girls have fun on the farm. Madalynn didn't want to leave.

Memorial Weekend

On Saturday Reggie, the girls and I went to Menard's to pick up some plants and lattice board. We were able to plant the scrubs on Saturday. We never put up the lattice board around the deck. I think we might wait until we stain the deck, then we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone!!

On Sunday I spent the day rearranging the girls bedroom. We took Maddie's crib down since it had been a few months since she had slept in it. I was able to put up decorations that Emma had received for her baptism. It was a very productive day. Both days we took the girls to the park.

On Memorial Day we had Emma's 1 year pictures taken. Then Lyle and Jenny came over to eat Ribs, corn on the cob and a bunch of other food. We also played some yard games. It was alot of fun.

Family Fun Night

On Sunday our daycare put on a family fun night. When we first got there the girls played games. They had golf, balloon animals and a couple of other games. Throughout the night, they had BBQ's, chips and jello to eat. At 6pm, all of the kids and their parent's went to the "chapel" as the kids call it. Every Wed at daycare, all of the kids meet to sing songs and worship. The teachers decided they wanted to show the parents what they do every week. So each group got up and sang 2 songs. Of course Maddie was up dancing and singing. I stood up to entertain Emma during one of Maddie's songs and she said "There is my Mommy" super load. You know there is always going to be one kids that does that but of course it had to be mine!

Emma's Birthday

Emma blowing out her birthday cake. OK, she really didn't blow it out herself but she did enjoy looking at it. She loved to eat the cake. She was a little leery at first about eating the cake but then she took after her mom and chowed down!!

Castle

Emma got a bouncy castle for her birthday from the Schmidgalls. Both of the girls love to jump and play in there. I just wish we had more room for it!

Graduation

After 3 years, Reggie graduated with his Masters in Business Administration on May 8th. I am so proud of him but I am also envious. I have 1 more year but I have a feeling that it is going to be a hard one!

Concert

On May 5th I went to the Elton John/Billy Joel concert with Nicky, My Mom, Lori and Melissa. The concert started at about 7:40pm and didn't get over with until 11:10pm or so. It was so much fun. They played constantly, I am so glad that I got the tickets.

Girls Weekend

The first weekend in May the girls that I went to nursing school got together for a girls weekend. We try to do it every year and we take turns hosting it. This year it was in Sioux Falls. The boys stayed home this year and we all agreed that next year they are coming!! We had 7 kids under the age of 4.
